“Thank you so much for the profound wisdom in your most recent Wuji Mountain Musings (#529). It really spoke to me. The concept of victimization is definitely a tough topic to broach but one that is pervasive in our world and really needs to be addressed. It reminded me of a teaching that Carolyn Myss gave in her first book. In it, she coined the term “Woundology” and explained that people who insist on staying in that role do so because they use it as an emotional currency and to control and manipulate others. It’s an interesting concept; however, after listening to your teaching, I feel like her teaching is stuck in the mental realm. I can now really feel the difference between her analytical, mental perspective vs. your heart-centered approach. Yours feels organic, whereas hers now feels, well…mental…like a computer. That teaching served a purpose and was helpful to me at the time I read it (about 20 years ago! lol), but your teaching definitely takes it to the next level.”

Francesco, this Musings #529 spoke to me as i was discussing with my beloved house mate my feelings of Victimization at one of the badminton groups in my local Town, this has repeated over the passed 50 years in every group, always one who appears to take a strong dislike to me which impacts my enjoyment on court.
i have never understood why, until now?!!
Thing is, i never thought it was coming from me?
Thank you for your insight in your teachings Francesco, you have a way of explaining and connecting the dots.
Peace Aiden over the pond
Thanks for sharing this Aiden… This is a powerful subject – with lots of emotion and energy around it… but when we can make the shift and see it differently, we can learn to guide and transform this energy is ways that are quite surprising! Sure, there will always be people who are not kind (and going through their own internal challenges) but we can do a lot within ourselves to change the course of interactions… A little sanding of the rough bits and cutting off the excess goes a long way in carpentry and most of life! Flowing you supportive waves.
